What does summer stand for? Ice cream? Coconuts? Or fruity trifle? We hear some of you dishtaggers scream “all of them!”.

With so many choices out there to finish your perfect meal, we asked your favourite food bloggers what are the most satisfying and refreshing desserts on their radars to help you navigate the best sweet plates in Hong Kong.

Go on. Treat yourself!

Joyce To (@hk_datfoodlife) – Sticky Toffee Pudding from Stockton

What Dishtaggers want: dessert 1

As a foodie with an insatiable sweet tooth, I am very particular about my desserts but I can say that the Sticky Toffee Pudding at Stockton is a winner! There is something so very naughty about this sinfully rich dessert: from the gooey steamed pudding to the smokey bourbon ice cream, this ticks all the boxes. The star of the show, however, is the gorgeously dark toffee sauce which can be drizzled sumptuously over the pudding or consumed on its own, by the spoonful…

Adrian So (@adrianylso)Tiramisu from Pici

What Dishtaggers want: dessert 2

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The idea of having an entire dessert all to myself after a full and hearty meal doesn’t seem all that appealing – unless we’re talking about Pici’s tiramisu. Served in a small glass cup, this tiramisu is the perfectly sized post-meal treat after overloading on carbs from Pici’s awesome selection of handmade pastas. This dish also gives you just the right amount of creaminess and flavour without sacrificing its lightness. All-in-all, it provides the perfect end to a great meal – satisfying but not overpowering.

Charlotte Mui (@nothingbutfoodies)Sous Vide Creme Brulee from Fast Gourmet

What Dishtaggers want: dessert 3

Who doesn’t like a good old creme brûlée? This classic has always been a favourite of mine. The contrast in flavour and texture of that creamy custard and crunchy caramelised layer is simply like no other. And at Fast Gourmet, they take this decadent French dessert to a whole new level! By making their creme brûlée sous vide, you get a custard that’s extra eggy, incredibly rich and silky smooth! Together with their homemade honeycomb, seasonal fruit reserve, and a delicious crackly golden top – mmm… Pure bliss!”
