Top lamb dishes in Hong Kong

Posted on April 13, 2020 by admin

This Easter may be different to those in years gone by, with social distancing rules in place in Hong Kong and around the world. But with spare time on our hands, we are dreaming of Easters past. And we are dreaming of LAMB! Reminiscing of our top Easter feasts spent with family and friends at home and out at great restaurants to inspire us this weekend.

Our top memory looking back was a whole Sardinian lamb. Roasted in the oven with tons of rosemary and shared with 15 hungry members of family back home in Turin. The lamb ribs from Francis featured above come pretty close, but we are yet to find quite the same here in Hong Kong. All the dishes featured in this list are epic in their own way, and come in various forms: “Frindian” at Pondi, Balinese at Poem. Greek at Artemis & Apollo. And French at La Petite Maison. Enjoy!

So whether you are staying home cooking lamb on the bbq, roasted in the oven, or plan to head out to treat yourself this Easter – albeit in groups of 4 or less – we hope our list of the top dishes from Hong Kong’s top restaurants inspires you.

And if lamb is not for you, these gorgeous photos will maybe whet your appetite for something else yummy this Easter!

Happy Easter everyone. And remember to upload and tag your dishes on the dishtag app to be featured on our Dishtaggers of the week blog and our Instagram stories.
