Dishtag x Foodpanda – BURGERFEST Campaign

Posted on September 10, 2020 by Youn

Dishtag recently partnered up with Foodpanda on a new creative campaign that celebrates 3 of our favourite things – Burgers, Food Delivery and Food Photography. The BURGERFEST campaign has launched only this week but we were lucky to spend 4 days back in August with chefs at four of the top burger spots in the city – Burger Joys, Honbo, The Diner and The Butcher’s Club – creating this delicious content.

We’ve picked out our favourite burger shots from the campaign below. Get inspired by more juicy burger content on Dishtag.com and the new Dishtag app, launched this week.

Foodpanda is celebrating Burgerfest for the whole of September. You can get free delivery on your burger by using code BURGERFEST with participating restaurants (requires minimum spend of $100). Be sure to look out for the exclusive limited-edition burgers!

Honbo have created a second Fried Chicken Burger ($118 on Foodpanda) as an exclusive for Burgerfest, and this time they bring a Korean flair! Built around a chunky Fried Boneless Chicken Thigh, the Fried Chicken Burger comes with a healthy dose of Red Dragon Sauce and is topped with Raw Kimchi. Order as a set and enjoy your burger with a side of their new Curry Fries and a drink.

If you like deep flavours, Burger Joy’s Umami Mami Burger ($162) is sure to hit the spot! Exclusively on Foodpanda, the Umami Mami Burger consists of a USDA patty topped with Japanese Chili Sauce, Bacon and Dried Tomatoes. The tasty looking sauce you see is a French Mushroom Puree – Italian Truffle Oil, Japanese Anchovies, Dried Fish, Mushrooms, Onions and Garlic – for a big umami kick!

Arguably the Godfather of the burger craze in Hong Kong, The Butcher’s Club serves up some of the juiciest looking beef and plant-based burgers in town. The Classic ($120) keeps it old-school. Dry-aged Beef Patty topped with Bacon, Cheese, Tomato, Pickles and Special Sauce. The vegan Impossible Burger option is packed with colourful Pickled Beetroot Crisps and Vegan Sauce, served on a Vegan Scotch Bap ($120 on Foodpanda).

The Diner

The Dime Burger (left) & The Hippie Burger (right). Photography Credits: Dishtag

The Diner offers a diverse selection of burgers and we’ve highlighted two of the best looking. The Dime Burger ($179 on Foodpanda) is about as classic as it gets with 100% USDA Angus Beef, Bacon and American Cheese. For those looking for plant-based alternatives, the Hippie Burger ($179 on Foodpanda) features a Beet and Bean Patty topped with Caramelized Onions, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Pickles.

Not enough burgers to inspire you ? We have more where this comes from! Check out the rest of the stunning burger content we shot for Foodpanda for Burgerfest.
